Rovaniemi. I have memorised our new address and navigated my way to closest supermarkets. We have walked around our block. We have found the longest and shortest ways to the city centrum.
We have settled into our new home.
Even Remu seems to be alright with this life changing move that we decided on without consulting him about it. Lots of stuff has found their places in our new home, some are still stored in our walking closet, some are still on a holiday in Svanstein. Still this house that has been ours only for few days feels cosy.
Never did I think, that moving back to Finland would bring me similar problems as when moving in to the small village in Sweden
Never did I think, that moving back to Finland would bring me similar problems as when moving into the small village in Sweden, but no there was no proper internet connections (nor phone connections) here either. Neither did I know that our mail was not coming to the mailbox in our door but elsewhere nor did I know that I have been using the wrong litter bin.
We have met our neighbors. Well, not all of them, but a few of them. We feel welcome to the neighborhood. One of the neighbors already had the time to give us a closet! This place is like it’s own commune where everyone helps one another and talks to you when you walk by.
